Top of parquetry veneer of contrasting light and dark mahogany, in a sunburst pattern leading to sunburst inlay in center; with an outer banded boarder of light mahogany. Apron of table is heavily, hand-carved mahogany leading to four legs decorated with extensively hand-carved scroll & shell motif. Legs are connected to each other by a carved X-design stretcher with carved center detail   Set of 6 chairs consisting of 2 with arms, measuring 21”x 25”x 48”, and 4 side chairs, measuring 21”x 25”x 43”. Arm chairs having carved mahogany legs and arms, with backs and seats upholstered in red velvet with seat having nail head fasteners around side edges. Side chairs having carved legs and heavily carved open work backs with same fabric and detail on seats as arm chairs. Fabric not original.   Marble top server, measuring 24”x 51”x 37”. Marble top 1 ½ " thick with beveled edge and shape following outline of serpentine cabinet beneath. Cabinet having one large top drawer with carved pulls and center light and dark contrasting mahogany parquetry veneer; this over three lower drawer partially set behind a pair of curved doors having light and dark mahogany veneer with center marquetry  floral inlay of satin and tulipwood; drawers with center carved pulls. Sides of cabinet having curved panels with light and dark mahogany parquetry veneer. Cabinet supported by carved mahogany legs.   Two-piece china cabinet, measuring 74 ½ " tall x 43’x 19”. Top half having 2 serpentine doors with light and dark mahogany parquetry veneer with center marquetry flower-basket inlay of satin and tulipwood. Base has carved mahogany frieze over carved center crest all supported by four heavily carved mahogany legs connected by X-style stretcher base with center finial.   Marble top sideboard, measuring 84”x 22 ½ “x 40”. Marble top ½ " thick with beveled edge having shape following outline of cabinet below. Frieze having one large center drawer with carved pulls flanked by two swing-out curved end drawer. Frieze with carved mahogany center crest below all supported by two heavily mahogany front legs, having extensive shell and scroll carving, connected to two rear legs by curved and carved stretcher bottom. Large carved and glided French 3-panel mirror, 50”x 62”; each panel having slight etched design.   Condition of set is “very good”, showing nice original finish and good patina. Place a Bid!
